Teaching resources
When supervising students I often get the question "where can I find this and that data". Below I provide some links to datasets. I also link to other resources such as Academic Writing and resources on statistical concepts, including tutorials using R as a statistical software (it's open source). It is imperative that you pay attention to the copyrights and cite correctly. You should also read the codebooks or/and manuals before using the dataset. If you have me as a supervisor, you are welcome to contact me with questions. But everyone is welcome to get in touch with me (see below) if you have some ideas on dataset that I could include or on how this page can be improved.

Datasets
The datasets below are popular and useful sources for students of International Relations. If you find them relevant, please read the codebook and how to cite it.
V-Dem - this is one of the great places you should visit for different sorts of democracy variables. It includes lots of other variables.
Polity IV- another place you can go if you need data on democracy.
The Correlates of War - despite its titel, this dataset also includes information on bilateral trade, membership in intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) and lots more.
QoG database - a place you should go if you're looking for multiple variable. Often, if you have what you were looking for, check the original source and download the data from there (cite correctly!).
QoG Enviromental Indicators - bunch of environmental data but again, find the original source and read the codebook.
World Development Indicators - This a database provided by the World Bank. Here, you can find data on trade, foreign direct investments, GDP, population and other interesting things.
The Measure of International Authority - this data gets updated every year (so far) and is great for those of you who wants to find data on the authority of international organizations
Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP) - wanna do something on war and peace? Look here.

Academic writing
These resources are for students who wants to refresh their knowledge regarding academic writings. They are many other resources but I prefer these ones.
Resources for academic writing - Stockholm University has a done great job in putting together many great sources for academic writing. You have everything you need here.
QuillBot - something that can be useful (but be careful)
Hemingway App - this can make your text more readable, Hemingway-ish.
The Uneven U - can be a very helpful way to think about paragraph construction
The Reverse Outline - check the structure of your paper.

Statistical resources
Here you can find resources by others on statistical concepts as well as tutorials on R.
Statistikhjälpen - this is a great place to look if you understand Swedish
UCLA Statistical Methods and Analysis - one of the best places for an introduction to popular statistical software such as R, Stata and SAS.
The R Graph Gallery - get inspiration for how to visualize your data

My code
Here I will be posting my code in R (or maybe even Stata...) to various graphs and analysis that can be useful for students and others.
